What is the Tang Scan to Win promo about?

The Tang Scan to Win promo allows consumers to participate and win prizes by buying specially marked Tang packs. Each pack contains a unique code inside which consumers can use to join and submit promo entries for a chance to win up to ₱10M worth of daily instant prizes, weekly and monthly.

When can I participate in Tang's Scan to Win promo?

The Promo is open to individuals who are:

  • 18 years old or above as of March 1, 2024
  • Resident of the Philippines
  • Not an employee or a relative of an employee (up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity) of the Organizer or its suppliers
How to join?

Individuals who want to participate can join using the following steps:

  1. Buy a specially marked Tang product with a unique code.
  2. Find promo code inside the pack.
  3. Scan the QR on the pack and enter the promo code via our chatbot.
    1. Participant must agree to Mondelez Privacy Policy and Promo Mechanics
    2. Participant must input their information including name (as reflected in a valid ID), birth month and year, email address, phone number, and verified GCash number.
  4. After successful registration, participant will input unique promo code found inside the pack for code validation.
How many times can I participate?

Individuals can participate and send entries as many as they want. However, participants are only allowed up to four (4) tries to send the right code.

  • The electronic raffle draw will be done weekly and will be facilitated by the MDLZ Tang brand team and their partner agency. Entries for the weekly raffle draw will be collected every Friday and weekly raffle draw will be done on Monday of each week.

  • The electronic raffle draw will be done monthly and will be facilitated by the MDLZ Tang brand team and their partner agency. Entries for the monthly prizes will be collected every last Friday of the month and the raffle draw will be done every 1st Monday of the month.

How do I claim my prize?

  1. For instant prizes,
    1. Winners will be asked to enter the one-time pin (OTP) that they will receive on their registered mobile number.
    2. Once mobile number is verified, GCash Credits will automatically be dispensed to their accounts, and they will be informed immediately through the Messenger Chatbot of the result. 
  2. For raffle prize winners 
    1. Mondelez, through its affiliated partner agency, will reach out to the winners through emails or phone numbers confirming their win. Within this email, the winners will also receive a quitclaim form that they must accomplish as well as guidelines on the proof of their identity.
    2. If the raffle draw winners fail to respond and provide their valid ID within the 14-day period, the prize will be forfeited
    3. If the weekly raffle prize will not be claimed, or the participant is disqualified, buffers from the raffle draw will be chosen for the winners with whoever was drawn first to be considered as the winner. 
    4. If the winner fails to contact MDLZ or its partner agency within 14 days for any reason whatsoever, it shall, at its sole discretion, elect to determine another winner in accordance with the Promotion mechanics. 
    5. All prizes are non-transferable, and all physical prizes cannot be converted to cash. Weekly raffle prizes are limited to one prize per one person.
Until when can I claim my raffle prize?

For the raffle prize, winners have 14 days to confirm and submit their valid ID.

What happens if I don't claim it within the 14 day period?

If the raffle draw winners fail to respond and provide their valid ID within the 14-day period, the prize will be forfeited.

When and where will the winners be announced?

All raffle winners will be announced in the Tang Philippines Official Facebook page (7 to 10 days) after the electronic raffle draw.

How are the winners selected?

Winners are selected through randomized electronic draw, ensuring every valid raffle entry has an equal opportunity to win a prize.

How do I know if I won the weekly or monthly raffle?

Winners of the raffle will be notified by a Mondelez International affiliated partner agency via their nominated email address and/or mobile number.

What if I won the GCash Prize, but do not have a GCash account?

Part of the requirements for signing up to join is providing information about a registered GCash number. If this information cannot be provided, individual cannot participate in the promo.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. Winners shall be responsible for additional costs, relevant duties, taxes and/or other incidental expenses, if any, which may be incurred as a result of and/or related to the winners’ claiming and/or acceptance of the prize.  
  2. No substitution or transfer of prize shall be permitted except at the option of MDLZ. MDLZ reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value in place of advertised prizes that are unavailable.  
  3. In no event shall MDLZ, its affiliates or subsidiaries be liable to the Participants for any monetary amount greater than the value of the prizes due to the prize winner under the rules and regulations of this Promotion.  
  4. MDLZ, its affiliates and subsidiaries, and The Walt Disney Company (Philippines), Inc. and its parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies and its and their offices, directors, employees and agents shall not be liable to the Participants in contract, tort or negligence or otherwise for any loss, damage, costs or expense of any nature whatsoever incurred or suffered by the Participant and which is of indirect or inconsequential nature, including without limitation any economic loss or other loss.  
  5. MDLZ reserves the right to use the winners’ names, photos and/or likeness for consumer research, publicity, promotion, advertising, and marketing purposes without the need to provide any reimbursement/fee to the winners.  
  6. MDLZ reserves the right to document the winners by pictures and videos of the winners with their prizes and posting said documentation in its social media pages and communication channels (Facebook and Instagram).  
  7. MDLZ reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion, as well as to suspend, modify or cancel the Promotion at any time with no prior notice.  
  8. Acceptance of any prize shall constitute a full release and discharge of MDLZ, its affiliates and subsidiaries, and The Walt Disney Company (Philippines), Inc. and its parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies and its and their offices, directors, employees and agents by each winner from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, and/or damages which the winner may have, whether known or unknown at the present time, of any nature whatsoever, arising out of or relating to: (i) the Promotion, (ii) personal injury and/or property damage, theft or loss suffered by the winner as a result of the use and/or enjoyment of the prize, and/or (iii) any tax liabilities in the relation to the Promotion, prize and/or use or enjoyment of the same.  
  9. MDLZ is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, undeliverable email, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications, telephone, telephone line or other telephone, electronic device or network related problems or errors, whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Promotion, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Promotion.  
  10. If in the opinion of MDLZ, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the Promotion, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Promotion, MDLZ reserves the right to terminate the Promotion and determine a winner using all eligible entries received as of the date of termination or to modify the Promotion in a manner deemed appropriate by MDLZ. 
  11. The Promotion shall in all respects be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. However, it shall be the participant’s sole responsibility and obligation to ensure that he/she complies with and do not contravene any laws to which he/she may be personally subjected to.
INDEMNIFICATION

 

By participating in the Promotion and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MDLZ, its affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, and agents, and The Walt Disney Company (Philippines), Inc. and its parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies and its and their offices, directors, employees and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including but not limited to attorneys' fees) arising from or related to your participation in the Promotion, such as but not limited to those arising from your breach of these terms and conditions and/or applicable laws due to your fault and/or gross negligence; personal injury and damage to property; and any violation of intellectual property rights of a third party.
